New YouTube Layout

For those who haven’t received the update, YouTube looks… different.
You know those new features YouTube keeps adding and stuff like that. From putting in Ads, changing the star system to like/dislike, adding the toolbar on the bottom, new colors, and now a huge change in format.

I was fine with the other changes, but not this one. This one makes browsing YouTube, or “YouTube’ing” more difficult and I find it completely unnecessary to the point where it’s ruining my YouTube experience.

Enough of me talking, lets look at some screenshots and my comments:

As you can see, it’s just YouTube without the ads (no ads because I have an add-on called Adblock Plus (horray FireFox))
but once you click the “browse” button… everything is different.

This new interface gets rid of the top videos and tries to “organize” them into groups. They even added a “trailers” section and a “store” section as well. Wait til I click on top videos.

Man, what the eff is this? Are they serious with this page bulls**t?
It’s harder to navigate AND it takes more pages to scroll through all the videos. I was more than happy with 20 thumbnails and descriptions in one page without having to scroll! New advances are fine, but not when it becomes inconvenient to use. Come on YouTube, come on Google!

Quick note: This new “page” layout only applies on the “Most Viewed Today” section. The other sections (comedy, politics, etc) remain the same.
